In 1999, the Institute for the Study of Coherence and Emergence (ISCE) was founded to facilitate the conversation between academics and practitioners regarding the implications of complexity thinking for the management of organizations.

In 2015, after ISCE created its Affirmative Consent Division, we realized that the same mobile app principles we began applying to the issues of sexual consent would resonate with the issue of bullying. The-No-App™ and the ISCE Anti-Bullying Division are our attempt to see if this theoretical notion has any truth.
